After Effects Artist (compositor / animator / motion designer)

Pulilab is currently seeking an experienced After Effects Artist (compositor / animator / motion designer).

Key Responsibilities: In consultation with the Motion Director,
Produce animations based on script, storyboard, and layout, and written instruction;
Adapt to Flikli’s many styles;
Ensure high quality and style is consistently achieved in animation work;
Meet all deadlines as determined by supervisor or Executive Producer;
Maintain the systematic workflow through Flikli’s online collaboration space;
Ensure proper information management (i.e., file naming and storage);
Communicate progress of work to creative supervisors and other production staff;
Address any problems to creative supervisors; ask necessary questions;
Attend and contribute to relevant meetings and brainstorm sessions as needed;
Review and comment on videos in production;
Apply changes to videos based on customer feedback; and
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Required skills/experience:

Problem solving and critical thinking
Able to work within a production schedule and meet tight deadlines
Proven compositing and animation skills on animated productions
Excellent English communication skills. Hungarian is a plus
Motivated and motivating team player
Video editing, sound design experience
Good interpersonal skills
Knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro
Flexible and willing to learn
Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Ability to produce a video individually, take direction and complete revisions in a timely manner
Creative vision and the ability to convey that vision through animation
